Instructions to Authors
Electronic submission: All manuscripts should be submitted through ‘online submission’ system or authors can also submit through editor@currentsciencejournal.info

The manuscript submitted to ‘International Journal of Current Science’ will be reviewed independently by three members from the editorial board or by the relevant experts. The corresponding authors will be kept informed about the status of their manuscript. Papers may be returned for revision and revised manuscripts should be sent to the editorial office within ten days, failing which the article shall be treated as new submission. Papers should be written in English. Double line space throughout the manuscript with 2 cm wide margins.

Manuscript should be included
  1. Title page: Title, name of authors, their affiliation, corresponding author name with an e-mail address.
  2. Abstract: Abstract should be 150 - 300 words.
  3. Key words: 3-5
  4. Introduction: It should provide sufficient information on the topic to allow the reader to understand the presented study. Previous work should be cited correctly without providing a lengthy review on the topic. The introduction should clearly outline the scientific hypothesis that was analyzed for the study undertaken.
  5. Materials and methods: Must be detailed enough to allow reproduction of the experiments described. Novel methods with modifications as well as genuine technical innovations have to be described, no need to repeat the methods that are published in detail.
  6. Results: This section should present the data as clearly. Authors are encouraged to describe the rationale for the experimental design. Please avoid redundancy in the presentation of data. Results in the form of a figure may not be presented additionally as a table or vice versa.
  7. Discussion: Should give the main conclusions from the experimental data without repeating them in length, and should interpret them with respect to relevant literature. The discussion may be followed by acknowledgements of personal, institutional and financial assistance.
  8. References: Citations in the text are given by author and year (Parker, 2000). In case of two authors both are named (Wendland and Walther, 2005). If three or more authors are cited by the first author’s name plus et al. (Neumann et al., 1998). In taxonomic papers complete species citations including authors and year of description are required. Please list the publications in alphabetical order in the References section.

  10. Figures and Tables are justified only if they are needed to understand the data; mere illustrations are not acceptable (they should be very clear). Redundancy of figures and tables must be avoided. Microphotographs need to contain space bars. Figures must be supplied in digital format (EPS or TIFF format, resolution for final size of figure 300 dpi for halftones, 600–1200 dpi for black/white line drawings). Figures should not be embedded within borders and the legends are provided separately. A maximum of 5 figures, 5 photographs and 5 tables are permitted.
  11. The Journal is following a double blind peer review process. Once the manuscript accepted authors has to pay a minimal amount for manuscript processing. Anyway, the journal has a waiver policy for developing country authors.
  12. Copyright: Once a paper is accepted, authors will be asked to transfer copyright. A form facilitating transfer of copyright will be provided after acceptance from Editor-in-Chief. If material from other copyrighted works is included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the source(s) in the article.
  13. Open Access. All the published articles shall be freely available in the online platform. To prevent any conflict of interest, you can only make this choice after receiving notification that your article has been accepted for publication.
